I had Roux-en-Y gastric bypass on August 16th, 2007, but I started writing about my experience as soon as I decided to have weight loss surgery.

I started this blog to not only keep track of my own experiences but also to provide information that might be useful to anyone contemplating weight loss surgery of any kind.
